The Association of Traders and Industrialists of Barceloneta, the ACIB, aware of the strong seafaring, commercial and gastronomic tradition of Barceloneta, organised various promotional activities during the Regata Cultural.
Sea of Shop Windows Gymkhana.
A route to discover the most emblematic and traditional shops in a fun way. Guides dressed in period costumes showed visitors the most unique shops in the neighbourhood, interacting in a friendly way with shopkeepers to ask questions and make comments. Without a doubt, an enjoyable experience for both visitors and shopkeepers.
Barceloneta Shopping Cata.
A sample of stops at the Old Port where visitors could get to know, enjoy, taste the rich local gastronomy or buy traditional products related to the neighbourhood and the sea. All enlivened with workshops and music for all ages. A ‘market& street food’ by the sea and with maritime inspiration, like Barceloneta.
Gastronomic route Barceloneta is the Bomb.
The 4th edition of this now classic route was a great success in terms of participation. First of all, the number of participants among the establishments that presented their own bomba, and then the success of the public.
The participating establishments were: Jai-ca, Forn Baluarte, Marisma, La Cova Fumada, Can Ganassa, Electricidad, Bodega Fermín, Estraperlo, Hace falta Chusco, Can Ros, Hombre Made Barceloneta, Matienzo, Casa Costa and Golmaal.
