Background Throughout its history, Barceloneta has always been very active

As in all leagues, ours had its favorites. Teams like Vinagre, Aquarius, Sport80 A, AllStars or Wandismei, were classics but far from being the only ones.
There were those who gave name to a “Coro”: Pescadors or the aforementioned Vinagre. The companies ones: Talleres Pons, Vídeoclub Atlántida, Encuadernaciones Martín or Zanussi, the once that took the name of streets: Villajoyosa or Atlètic Cervera, or bars such as Can Ganassa or Rías do Miño. Along with others from different origins such as the Escola del Mar, the Queen, the Amigos, the Sport80 B, the Acuario B, the Sant Damián, the Orly, the Anxoveta, the Mismos, the Falcons, the Peña Goico or the Rayo Cibeles.
Sporadically there were also some teams from other neighborhoods like the Flassaders del Borne. The soccer level was really high. As demonstrated for example in two games, one the Vinegar (1983-84) and the following year Aquarius (1984-85), against a team of veterans of FC Barcelona, formed among others by Asensi, Reixach, De la Cruz, Fusté, Costas or Mora.
