We are a benchmark in the training offer for lovers of sport and the sea. With a vision focused on providing the necessary tools for the development of a solid professional career. The institute offers Sports Technician degrees closely linked to the fascinating world of nautical sports.
We have a professional insertion rate of 90%.
Study options include such exciting disciplines as sailing, sport diving, canoeing and lifeguarding. With a professional insertion rate that stands out with an impressive 90%, the Sports Technician graduates of the Nautical Institute have an exceptional opportunity to enter the Catalan labour market.
Theoretical and practical teaching.
The curriculum offers a unique combination of theoretical and practical teaching. The privileged location of the Institute, in the middle of the Port of Barcelona, is ideal for practical learning. In addition, part of the training is carried out in collaboration with specialized technicians from federations such as FCSS (Catalan Federation of Rescue and Lifesaving), FECDAS (Catalan Federation of Underwater Activities), Red Cross, FCV (Catalan Sailing Federation) and FCP (Catalan Canoeing Federation). This guarantees a complete and updated training, with the opportunity to practice in their sports facilities.
Vive la Vela Program.
The INB has been implementing the Vive la Vela program for two years. This program, jointly promoted by the Barcelona City Council and the Catalan Sailing Federation, aims to bring the sport of sailing to the students of Barcelona. It is important to point out that this program is fully subsidized, offering students the opportunity to discover the passion for sailing at no additional cost.
