At the Barcelona Institute of Logistics, there’s one very important aspect we like to keep in mind: our immediate surroundings. Together, we create this space and sense of community, which is crucial for developing our educational work.
Guided tours for 4th year of ESO
Each year, visits are organized for 4th year ESO students from the Joan Salvat Papasseit Institute . The end of secondary school is a very important time to work on student orientation . During these visits, the students of intermediate level of our training cycles (Commercial Activities, Administrative Management and Microcomputer Systems and Networks) explain the operation of the studies and accompany the students.
Workshops , talks , scholarships, Erasmus… Non – stop activities !
During the months of January and February the Workshops have taken place. A period in which, in addition to classes, activities, workshops and lectures are organized, which enrich and complement the training, in particular have been carried out:
-Visit to the public research center CNM-IMB-CSIC.
– Workshops at the Barcelona School of Consumer Affairs.
-X error by the company Carreras Forwarders .
– Visit to the Barcelona Microelectronics Institute.
– Concurs 3dDay EEBE, where our students were awarded in the category of projects related to 3D printing.
-Visit to the Parliament of Catalonia.
– Talk by the Transport Users Council.
-Participation as a speaker for our students at the EdTech Congress.
-Visit of a delegation of teachers from Belgium and the Department of Education and Vocational Training.
-Visit of the faculty to the Sea of Activities space .
-Beginning of the Erasmus scholarships, we received both international students and students and teachers of the center, developing their training with partner centers in France with Erasmus+ scholarships.
ISO Certification .
Recently we have also obtained certification of our management system under the UNE-EN ISO 9001:2015 standard for our contribution to improving the quality of education. This certification is a guarantee for the entire educational community and places the focus on the highest standards for developing the teaching-learning process.
We are already in the third year of operation of the center, little by little the ILB family is getting older, and the next goals are approaching, such as the Institutes of the Port of Barcelona Cup and graduation, events in which we are already working hard.
