La Barceloneta is a historically gastronomic neighborhood. Its culinary tradition dates back generations, with its seafood recipes and varied tapas offerings, some of which originate in the neighborhood, being especially famous. But times evolve, and cuisines cross borders and discover new flavors and dishes. This—let’s call it—”culinary cosmopolitanism” has also been present in La Barceloneta, a particularly open neighborhood.
Integration and Authenticity
In this report on “new flavors,” we want to discuss the proposals that we would consider authentic and, as such, respectful of our own. Both, new and traditional , coexist. forming a varied and high-quality offering. Typically, these new establishments are run by experienced, culinary-savvy people who seek and maintain the authenticity of their countries’ cuisine.
