"The living conditions of the population in the Barceloneta of the 19th century".

From September 14th to October 28th. Guided visit to the exhibition: October 5 (18h) 

In the 19th century, industrialization and population growth meant that Barceloneta experienced serious problems of health, hygiene and access to basic resources.

"Energy of proximity".

October 3 (17h)

Guided route through Barceloneta focused on the energy supply in the city, visiting the vestiges of the old electric sub-central, La Maquinista Terrestre y Marítima and the gasometer of Catalana de Gas in the Barceloneta Park. 

"The women of '36"

October 26 (18:30h).

Isabel Centeno, member of the Barceloneta History Workshop, will explain in this lecture how during the postwar period Spanish women suffered a strong repression. 

"Picasso's Barceloneta. 1895-1904"

From November 2 to February 10

Exhibition on the celebration of the 50th birthday of the disappearance of Pablo Ruiz Picasso, which shows us the Barceloneta of the period in which the artist lived in Barcelona.
