Training future professionals for the logistics and port community

The Barcelona Institute of Logistics begins its third year of operation with a fully deployed center.

The Barcelona Institute of Logistics is a training centre long sought after by the entire port community, dedicated to the professional training of future professionals in the logistics and port community.

There are more than 500 companies in the Port of Barcelona that carry out their daily activity, occupying around 40,000 jobs. All this infrastructure requires professionals trained in different profiles.

 

Training offer

Vocational training is structured into two-year courses at intermediate and advanced levels, as well as training and integration programmes. To access intermediate levels, it is necessary to have passed Compulsory Secondary Education and/or an entrance exam, and to access advanced levels, it is necessary to have passed Baccalaureate, an intermediate level and/or an entrance exam.

In vocational training, all students must spend a period of time in a company and/or workplace as part of their training, thus representing a real lever for promoting the career plans of young people in the logistics sector.

The qualifications that can be studied at the centre are:

Intermediate vocational training in commercial activities with a logistics profile.

Intermediate vocational training in administrative management.

Intermediate professional training in Microcomputer Systems and Networks.

Higher vocational training in International Trade.

Higher vocational training in transport and logistics.

Higher professional training in Network Computer Systems Administration with a Cybersecurity profile.
