The Barcelona Logistics Institute opened its doors in September 2022, the result of an agreement between the Port of Barcelona and the Barcelona Education Consortium. It was born to respond to the needs of professionals in the port community and the internationalization of the company.
A community, the Port of Barcelona, which is an infrastructure that has more than 500 companies that carry out their activity and generate around 40,000 jobs.
Located in the World Trade Center Barcelona, currently has two courses in operation. It is a professional center , fully dedicated to sector-specific professional training. Currently, it has more than 400 students, a team of more than 40 specialized teachers and collaboration with companies in the sector, since all vocational training students have to do an internship training period with companies.
In this sense, the Barcelona Logistics Institute is an integrated vocational training center, where you can study the professions that respond to the profiles most in demand by the sector.

● Intermediate vocational training in Commercial Activities with a Logistics profile
● Intermediate vocational training in Administrative Management
● Intermediate vocational training in Microcomputer Systems and Networks
● Higher vocational training in International Trade
● Higher vocational training in Transportation and Logistics
● Higher professional training in Networked Computer Systems Administration with a Cybersecurity profile
The differential values of the educational project are the academic and professional orientation of the students, the learning of languages in all studies and internationalization. The regulated vocational training courses offered have a very high degree of job insertion, which in the case of a higher degree exceeds 70%, and allows training to work within the sector in different positions in the logistics chain and internationalization of the company.
It is also authorized by the SOC as a vocational training center for the occupation and professional certificates can be taken, currently, the Auxiliary Commerce Activities certificate.
