Invest in cinema… and get your money back!

Diego Rodríguez, founder and CEO of La Charito Films, a company specialized in financing films and shows

Ever since I was a child living in La Barceloneta with my family, I have always liked going to the cinema. When I was young, I started working as a stockbroker and, whenever I could, I would take my Vespa (which I named Charito) to go to film premieres and film festivals. So, in 2017, I combined my passion for film with my experience as an investor and founded my production company, La Charito Films, which specialises in financing films and shows.

Through private investors like you, who can be freelancers or entrepreneurs, we finance cultural projects, as an alternative to tax deductions and therefore pay less tax on your income tax return. Sounds good to pay less tax, don’t you think?

We have six different financing products that offer short and medium-term profitability to our clients, whom we advise in a very personalised way throughout the investment process, so that they can find the project that is most in line with their interests and their financial situation. In this way, once our clients have decided that they want to be patrons of culture, they don’t have to worry about anything else, as we take care of making their investment profitable with the different projects we have in hand.

At the moment, thanks to other investors like you, we have produced the film “Asombrosa Elisa” by Sadrac González-Perellón, with Silvia Abascal, Asier Etxeandia and Iván Massagué, which was released on the 14th of October in cinemas. We also co-produced, together with Gonzalo Pérez Pastor and Vértigo 360, the show “Cruz de navajas. Lo último de Mecano“, which you can see in Barcelona between the 18th of November 2022 and 8th of January 2023. And, also, the musical show “Love Love Love” with José Corbacho and Ramon Gener, which is currently on tour in different Spanish cities. But, for 2023, we have a film on the table with Fernando Tejero and Óscar Casas and many more projects that we will materialise thanks to investors like you.

Imagine attending the premiere of a film, going to a film festival and being surrounded by celebrities or seeing your name in the credits at the end of a film. Sounds good, doesn’t it? Well, don’t imagine it and make it come true with La Charito Films: invest in culture, through us.
